Business Development/Marketing Specialist

Seeking applications for Business Development/Marketing Specialists. The Business Specialist will build market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships with clients and solidifying partnerships with other consulting firms.

Job Duties

  • Responsible for marketing, advertising, and increasing Opsec Media Networks market presence
  • Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements
  • Locates or proposes potential partnerships
  • Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements and financials
  • Examines risks and potentials
  • Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations
  • Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
  • Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in applicable field: Marketing, Business Administration, etc.
  • 3-7 years of experience in a business development, account management or similar role
  • Experience with Cyber/IT security, physical security, risk management or similar industry preferred
