Consultant (Junior Associate)

Job Duties

  1. Support project-based consulting team in planning, execution and finalization of risk management engagements
  2. Identify and evaluate business and technology risks, internal controls which mitigate risks, and related opportunities for internal control improvement
  3. Actively participate in engagement meetings and support the consulting team in decision making processes
  4. Build and nurture positive working relationships with clients with the intention to exceed client expectations
  5. Identify opportunities to improve engagement effectiveness and quality control
  6. Assist in research, writing, and formatting of comprehensive enterprise risk assessment findings reports
  7. Perform other duties and special projects as required

Required Skills

  • 1-3 Years of Risk Management Experience in the one or more of the following areas:
    • Information Security
    • Regulatory Security Compliance
    • Physical Security
    • Emergency Management
  • Must have fundamental knowledge of the risk management process (assessments, implementation, training)
  • BA/BS Degree in a relevant field strongly suggested

Desired Skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform quality assurance and create quality client deliverables with minimal supervision
  • Skilled in PowerPoint, Word, Excel
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to lead and/or actively participate in working sessions and stakeholder meetings
  • Ability to interact with clients and represent Opsec Media Networks in a professional manner
  • Ability to take a broad view of the position and take initiative to communicate, interact and cooperate with others
  • ICS 100, 200, CompTIA Security +
